My second time at the great Amsterdam Schipol Airport.
One of the best spotting locations worldwide and a lot of widebody traffic. Even though most of them are from KLM, they really never fail to impress.

Small airport with just a few scheduled flights per day. But because of the Airbus Factory located there the Beluga comes to town from time to time. And -especially in the summer season- there is quite some interesting charter traffic.

The airport of Cologne offers in most cases only regular german domestic air traffic but is also a small cargo hub and has some connections to Russia on schedule. So good chances to catch special planes from one of  the really good photo positions.

CPH Copenhagen | 29.09.10

Copenhagen Kastrup airport is the gateway to the capital of Denmark. You will find there all major european airlines plus some interesting intercontinental connections. A part of SAS's long haul fleet is also based here.

CTA Catania | 29.09.10

The small regional airport is located at the bottom of the Etna Vulcano creating a wonderfull backdrop. In the summer months the airport is used for some touristic flights, domestic flights nevertheless take place over the whole year.

DME Moscow Domodedovo | 26.01.11

Domodedovo Airport lies southeast of the hughe city of Moscow and is the biggest and the only private operated airport in the vicinity. Even if they become fewer over the years, some great old russian birds can be seen there.

Mostly local carriers like Aer Lingus and Ryanair operate flights into Dublin.But a very nice spotting point brings you pretty close to the action.

Another interesting airport of the NYC area is Newark Liberty Airport in New Jersey. As a Homebase of Continental the airport offers more airlines and planes: national as well as international flights.

This small airport at the Lake Constance is servied by only a few airlines. But in the winter season some airlines from Russia or Scandinavia operate Ski Charter flights.

On the way from Toronto to the Niagara Falls, suddenly a few 727 freighters appeared next to the street. So we took a quick stop at Hamilton International Airport, which is a almost 100% cargo airport with some really nice and old planes parked there.

For the first time I visited the biggest airport in Canada.Dominating traffic there is of course Air Canada and it's regional Airline Jazz. Additionally most main carriers and a few exotic Canadian birds operate flights to Toronto .
